- PLUG-IN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- CyberView Image ver. 4.5.1
-
- CyberView Image plug-in modules work with Adobe Photoshop 3.0
- and greater and with other host applications which support
- Adobe Photoshop 3.0 compatible export or filter plug-in modules.
-
- CyberView Image is shipped with export and filter plug-in modules.
-
- CyberView Image JPEG export plug-in module cvi451.8be (or cvi451ev.8be)
- and filter plug-in module cvi451.8bf (or cvi451ev.8bf)
- file are located in directory:
- [ CyberView Image Home Directory ]\plugin
- if you run installation with default parameters,
- in typical case it will be:
- C:\Program Files\CyberView\Image 4.5.1 \plugin
-
- Installing CyberView Image plug-in modules
- in Adobe Photoshop 3.0 or higher:
- 1. Copy plug-in modules: cvi451.8be, cvi451.8bf
- (or cvi451ev.8be, cvi451ev.8bf)
- to the current Photoshop Plug-ins directory.
- To find out location of that directory start Photoshoop
- and from main menu go to:
- (File menu | Preferences menu| Plug-ins...)
- 2. Restart Photoshop.
- Make sure that one copy of the plug-in module still remains
- in its original location.
-
- Installing CyberView Image plug-in modules
- in Corel Photopaint ver 7.0 (other versions similar):
- 1. Start Corel Photopaint.
- 2. from main menu go to:
- (Tools menu | Options menu | Plug-In Filters tab).
- 3. Click Add button and select directory where
- CyberView Image - JPEG plug-in modules:
- cvi451.8be, cvi451.8bf (or cvi451ev.8be, cvi451ev.8bf) are located.
-
- Plug-in installation procedure is specific for each host application,
- and often differs from one above.
- Check documentation for the host application,
- or its on-line help file for the most accurate information.
- Some host applications incorrectly pass name of the original file,
- in that case CyberView Image shows
- UNTITLED.JPG as a name of the file to export.
-
-
- Why filter module?
- Filter type plug-ins are most widely supported Adobe Photoshop plug-ins.
-
- CyberView Image JPEG export and filter / export modules provide
- almost identical functionality. To export whole image using filter
- plug-in the image should be "Flatten" or its objects should be merged
- (if image contains multiple layers or objects) This is because filters
- operate on each layer / object individually.
-
- CyberView Image behaves almost identically when runs as a plug-in
- and when runs as a separate application. The only difference is that
- there is no Image Browser window in plug-in module.
- CyberView Image maintains separate sets of configuration information
- for each type of operation.
-
- CyberView Image plug-in modules can work with many host applications
- on the same machine.
